The 129th China Import and Export Fair will be held online betweenApril 15 and 24, 2021. Continuing to hold the 129th session online willconsolidate the gains in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic,as well as social and economic development. The Fair will further play its roleas a platform for all-round opening-up, and help maintain the smooth operationof the industrial and supply chains of foreign trade.
The exhibition themes of this session are basically the same with theprevious one. The National Pavilion will include 16 product categories in 50sections while the International Pavilion 6 themes. All exhibition sectionswill start online displaying at the same time on April 15. Exhibitor andproduct display, trade matchmaking, cross-border e-commerce zones will beavailable to provide information, instant messaging, negotiation appointmentsand live-streaming marketing. To coordinate the progress made in povertyeradication and rural revitalization, the Fair will designate a special zonefor companies from formerly poor areas, to introduce their products tointernational buyers. Following two successful online sessions, the Fair willfurther optimize the website to enhance services and convenience, improve userexperience and facilitate buyer-supplier transaction. The 129th Canton Fair willcontinue to exempt exhibitors and the cross-border e-commerce platforms feesfor participation to ease the difficulties of enterprises and cut their costs.
